Living Social's 918 F Street storefront location hosted an intimate show with Switchfoot. Only 200 tickets were sold, so everyone was able to get up close and personal. Of course, the show was awesome with Jon Foreman climbing down off the stage to drop into the basement bar the next floor down. After photographing this show I ran down to the 930 Club to hang out with Sara Watkins after her set and to hear Dawes play through theirs. As an extra bonus to my already amazing night, toward the end of the show Jon and Drew from Switchfoot came to 930 to see Sara too and Sean Watkins (her brother and another Nickel Creek musician) took a few minutes to talk with me. All of my favorite San Diego musicians in one room!
